Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Mijailovic banned for five European games for racially abusing Benni McCarthy. It seems not a few weeks can go by without an English team going abroad and having to put up with monkey chants and other ignorant nonsense yet UEFA always seem to give the clubs a smack on the wrist with a small fine. About time that they got tough and this ban seems to be a proper response. Although was interested to read that the ref gave evidence against the Serb player...if he knew what was going on, where was the red. The English FA and clubs for all their faults have done a great job in kicking racism out of football, it's about time the rest of Europe followed. Are competiition bans the way to go for clubs whose fans indulge in this nasty ****? Maybe harsh but could stop the problem. Maybe not for a fisrt offence but definitely for persisitent offenders.
