Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Why, Joe, is it ridiculous?

It's insane that they should get any further reduction in the points taken off them.

All the clubs cheated, Fiorentina, Lazio should have joined Juve in Seris B

To so blatently break the rules and have the Italian FA not enforce their own rules to the letter of the law is a farce, worse then the original offences if you ask me. They are just afraid of the revenue they will miss out on.

Out of curiosity (obviously I know the truth) what do you believe the clubs you mention are guilty of?

Why ask if you already know?

The initial sentences were fair. Now, with the continued reductions of the original rulings, it would seem to make a mockery of the "values of sporting behavior".

It's ridiculous because this is the second time that clubs were able to appeal their penalties and get reductions. What next? Juve given automatic promotion to Serie A?

    Can they appeal any further?

I'm biased here and I think people know where I stand if they read any of my other posts.

None of what happened makes sense to me

Yep, apparently they can and possibly will again contest the punishments:

"Yet there may be more on the horizon, as clubs still unhappy with their lot could in theory appeal to the TAR tribunal. As it is outside the jurisdiction of the sporting courts, this civil action would infuriate the Federation and might earn new penalties for the sides involved."

Good idea I think. I dont think they should have had any points taken of them. The people who got caught should have just got locked up, whats really insane is to take it out on the players when they had nothing to do with it.

winning the world cup got the clubs alot of leniency. Best thing that happened to them. totally disgusted that they got reduced again!!!

This puts Juventus 6 points behind the Serie B leaders with a game in hand. Basically guarantees they will win Serie B now, if there was any doubt before.
