maintianance books tools?

can any one recomend a good bike maintainance book that covers alot if not everrthing i need to know about fixing and repairing full sus bikes. i've just got a new giant reign, and i want to do as much maintainance as possible myself, like finding out more about hydraulic brake's,maintainance intervals and such things. i'd also like to know what are essential tools (shock pump etc.) as i have fairly basic tools.

Park Tools make good stuff, so their book might be ok.

i've got a copy of Zinn and the Art of Mountain Bike Maintenance i'd probably be willing to part with.
It's in really good nick other than a few pages dirtied from greasy/dirty hands.

I have the Zinn book too, but I find articles on the web much better, real pictures rather than drawings and usually without having 5 or 6 different articles depending on the component you are using.

"The Bike Book", published by Haynes, is excellent as an all-round bike maintenance guide. Not sure how good it is on full-suspension bikes but it's worth checking out:

When you are dealing with things like hydraulic brake systems or suspension linkages I think you should really be searching for technical documents on line. I doubt any book will be able to cover all the different types of linkage or braking system out there. Manufacturers website would be my first port of call.
