Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

N80 distorted ringtone problem

Does anyone else have a simfree N80? I have a strange problem with the ringtones. It sean from time to time when the phone is ringing, the ringtone begins to slow down and breakup. I am begining to think it is only where the phone says the callers name from the phonebook.

I have upgraded the firmware from NOkias website to V4.0623.0.41, but its still happening...

Anyone any idea? btw, there is no Ringtone effects software on the N80 like the N73 has.

This also happened to me on my N70. If it's of any relevance, the ringtone was in the AAC format.

It's only happened about three times. Maybe if it's running short on RAM?

I am using AAC ringtones... Does anyone know a shortcut to see the phone memory status on symbian 60 3rd edition phone?

I think if you hold down the Vodafone key on the N70 it brings up options to set a shortcut for it. Maybe there's an option to memory status there. Can't tell you -- phone isn't at hand at the moment.

Would TaskSpy be of any use?
