Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    What type of phone?
    Where is the phone originally from?
    How long have you had it?
    Is it set to use 3G only?
    Has it ever been reported lost or stolen?
    What message is shown when you can't use it?
    Do you have credit in your account?

    Is it really sim free or is it an unlocked Vodafone model? I'm would bet heavily that's it's an unlocked Vodafone model. Meteor sim cards don't work properly with that model with Vodafone firmware. Same goes for the K600i and a couple of the Samsungs.

    You could get the standard SE firmware put onto it.

    Edit;

    Your Meteor sim should work fine in it then.

    Above user is correct.

    An O2 sim will work fine in the unlocked branded phone.

    The V800 is a Vodafone branded Z800, you best bet is to get generic Z800 firmware installed on it. If you are around Dublin or Wicklow I can do it for you
