Ok, I have a problem

I am 14, male and think I might be infertile, but not sure

Every time I masturbate its very enjoyable but when I reach an orgasm it feels great but instead of milky-white semen coming out a semi-transparent liquid comes out, as if it was something white mixed with a lot of water

The liquid is slippy, and not thick or sticky. The odd time it might shoot out (never anything too big, just up in the air and then down), but most of the time it just dribbles out.

This always happens when I masturbate, and I have never once masturbated where the discharge was milky-white

I'm 14, so it should be well developed by now, but it doesnt seem to be

Now I realise that this isnt a medical board, but I was just wondering did anyone ever expierence this, when they were younger, or if anyone is going through the same problem as me now

You need to relax. There is absolutely no way on earth that you can tell if you are sterile merely from looking at your semen.

Semen varies in texture and colour from hour to hour, week to week. Factors like diet and exercise can even change the appearance of your semen. Most young males will produce between 200 million and 500 million spermatozoa in one ejaculation, but you'll never be able to do a "count" as they're invisible to the naked eye.

As to the amount of semen that you are producing - again, that can vary wildly from man to man. Some medications can even affect the volume of semen you are producing. Genetics too can play a role.

If you find that your semen changes drastically in colour, or is streaked with blood, you should go to see your doctor. Other than that, you need to stop making self-diagnoses in your head.

Don't worry about it, as embee said it varies greatly depending on a lot of factors. Also, you're still quite young.
Whatever you do though, don't go testing it out on some poor young girl, just to see if you are or not

Yeah, when I first started masturbating my semen was exactly the way you describe. It took a year or two to change to the more expected consistancy and colour as far as I remember. I didn't know any better at the time so it never worried me! I never thought to find out why, but I'm sure there's a fairly routine biological reason for it.

I was a fair bit younger than you, but we all develop in different ways at different rates. If you're still a little concerned, ask your doctor about it next time you're in for something. I know it probably seems an embarrassing question, but doctors are professionals and they deal with that sort of thing all the time.

Eh, that's completely normal.
The "try without for 4 days" is a good suggestion.

Google and wikipedia are your friends. There was also a site mentioned before caled something like "jackinworld" or something. Might be a FAQ there.

Yeah, agreed with the rest of them that this isn't anything to worry about. You may be infertile but the appearance of your semen isn't going to tell you that, you need a doc to count your swimmers.

The appearance shouldn't bother you but if it is then 1) Take a multi-vitamin if you aren't already 2) make sure you're drinking plenty of water to stay hydrated. 3) Decrease frequency to a couple of times a day. Someone suggested wait four days!!! At 14 that is just not going to happen! 4) take regular exercise and most importantly 5) Take a Zinc supplement a couple of times a day (depending on what the packaging suggests).
