Change it yourself via the top-bar:

boards.ie --> Change Styles --> Whatever skin you want.

yeah i know but that involves work. I shouldn't have to work on boards

i'd imagine for the average paddy, this will drive them away from the site as it's too blinding :cool:

I logged out, briefly to look at it. It is horrible. But themed. And in a world where we dress dogs up for halloween, isn't that what really counts?

I love it Great to see that the team at boards have a bit of their inner child (children?) and their sense of humours intact

Anyone else think that the 'O' in the boards.ie halloween logo looks like a ghost. WooooOOOOoooooo!

Finally someone who understands my pain!!
I know I can change it I'm saying it's horrible.

Ye better have a lovely one lined up for Christmas. It's a proper holiday and it's colours are red and white much more festive and easier on the eyes than that garish orange.

To be honest I find the Halloween skin hard on my eyes.

I will give the same feedback that I gave when the first "now 75,000 of ye are talking" banner was put up... you need to select colours with frequencies which don't boggle the eyes of colour blind people such as myself. Looking at the "Happy Halloween from Boards.ie" on the top left makes me dizzy as the red and black and not great together. Incidently I am red green colour blind... so not sure how black comes into it... maybe I am just odd.

Anyway.. yes it is good that boards.ie is going festive ala google and that has to be commended.. but perhaps first of all try the new colour schemes out on a subset of freaks with human defects such as I.

Today at work, whilst fumbling around trying to change back to the original basic colour scheme I stumbed across some kind of drab grey and brown which is great for reading boards when people are looking at your screen.. as it makes all the colours so dull that no one could possibily know you are reading such a site as this. It may or may not have been the "minimalist" theme... cannot remember now.

That is my 2 cent.
