Any one know any body that would kit out an apartment for you?

I know Clery's do it but the person that does it is on holidays.

If you used one before can you tell me what you got (floors, beds, sofas) and roughly how much it cost and what size apartment?

Are you looking for a company who can source and decorate your apartment for you?

Why don't you approach an interior designer?

There are some firms that specialise in apartment fit-outs and will often pre-price specific developments. Ask your vendor if they have anyone. http://www.google.ie/search?hl=en&q=apartment+fit-outs+dublin&meta=

Where you end up with no end of problems and spend three times your budget.

Obviously you have had some bad experience with an interior designer, but there are designers out there who make the process as simple as possible and come in under budget.

Its really not like what you see on TV, a good designer should design the room the client wants, not the other way round :)

I was in touch with the first person in the link. She seems very nice and I'm waiting to hear back from her.

The a firm fits out entire blocks would you all have the same stuff? Or is it a case that you hire them out and pick what you want?

They will tend to have a number of packages that you can select from for a set price for supply & delivery. If you want to vary things, you risk paying full retail + a percentage.

    A typical package might be:
"Single room: Single bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers
Double room: Doublebed, large wardrobe, chest of drawers
Living room: 3-piece suite, coffee table, TV stand, shelf unit
Dining room: dining table, 6 chairs, storage unit

All for a total of X euro."

Other packages might include curtains, mirrors, incidental ornaments (ducks on wall), etc.

Buying the package means they could get a deal by buying say 100 single and 50 double beds and have them delivered from factory to site, rather than everyone buying their own and 100 trucks are used for the various deliveries.
