Hey Guys, I'm just looking to get a free capture program for getting some footage off a camcorder using firewire. Had one before but can't seem to find it now. Running windows 2000, don't have Windows movie maker, cheers

ok was looking for something quick so thats why I posted.

I've found Stoik Video Capturer and its free. Its running now, seems to be doing job. I got it from Download.com by the way.

The site is pretty cool for free/non free software of all types. There is a cool feature where you can search based on the licence, i.e. if its free/trial/cost based.
