Eircom Phoneline Delay

Hey, I moved into a new apartment. Eircom estimate that they wont have a phoneline in place until June 2007 (block of apartments that need a new kiosk or someyhing). Although this is only an estimate, its still crazy stuff. Obviously, if I want BB before December I will have to look at a wireless option, afaik Ice & IBB…

Obviously, if I want BB before December I will have to look at a wireless option, afaik Ice & IBB are available in the area, although based on previous threads both sound disasterous. Which is the lesser evil?

Still going to annoy Eircom every day and have other residents and the builders doing the same (builders have no phone/fax on site)

this is normal. escalate to the very top straight away ( phil.nolan@eircom.ie may still work ) and read the early part of this thread linked below (To end August only ) where a large block in Dublin 1 , the centre of the known universe, had the same problem as you.
