I've been asked to put together a few discs for a friends party but don't know where to start. He gave me a few guidelines and they are no RnB, chart pop etc. I think he wants the music he hears in a bar on a night out. (He drinks in Nancys). I'm thinking Stereophonics, some Killers etc with a good mix of 70s (disco??) Could any of you come up with suggestions? Artist and title please. Does anyone like listening to disco on a night out???

That Deacon Blue song is awesome - I know it well. However I think that Donna Summer's 'This Time I know It's For Real' would be better than 'I Feel Love'.
