Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Icons Moving on Desktop With Each Resolution Change...

    Hi everyone,

I have a laptop which I use with a docking station when in work. The docking station is attached to a flatpanel LCD which has a different resolution to the display on the laptop itself. Consequently, this means the icons on my desktop get shuffled around everytime I switch display (i.e. change resolution).

Does anyone know of any software / XP tweak to force icons to stay in a certain place? Or at least group them? I tend to put them in the 4 corners of the screen, so I'd imagine if any position is possible, it's like that!

Also, this second question's a long shot: I have a windows workgroup set up at home with 3 PC's, a media streamer and my mobile attached to the network. One of the PC's is running Ubuntu, and it although I can ping it and everything, the hostname of the Linux box won't show up, even on my router's DHCP table! (Probably a question for another board, but thought I'd ask while I'm here :))

    Thanks in advance,
    Seán
