is that it?...are Eircom not going to drop the wholesale price or up speeds further?, is all they are doing is dropping prices on THEIR packages and no one else? :mad:

Thats it as they are too busy trying to scr** Smart Telecoms customers..... thats their priority these days :mad:

They dropped the wholesale price last month at the same time they reduced their residential prices. Not all wholesale re-sellers passed on the saving (BT didn't as they were already operating at a loss).

There'll be no more speed increases on ADSL as it's just about at it's limit right now. ADSL2+ will be the next step, if they ever get round to it. They'll probably wait until it's obsolete technology, like they did with ISDN, and then charge four times the going rate for it.
