PS2 Online

Hi guys. Just got broadband in today and I am wondering about online gaming. What's the story with ps2? How do you go about it? Any other advice would be wonderful

If you have the new slimline ps2 you can just plug an ethernet cable from the back of the console into your router. If you have the old model you will have to buy the seperate network adapter which isn't manufactured anymore and can be hard to come across.

Played a few ps2 games online when I had one. Pro Evo, Fifa, Killzone, Timesplitters... not much else. I think timesplitters worked well, Killzone not too bad either. Fifa and Pro Evo were full of lag. The lack of a proper ps2 online service means you'll have to set up an online account for every game, and sign into the game server every time you want to play online. Can get quite tedious, also passwords can easily be forgotten.
