    anybody out there know about grants abroad, i've been acepted to uni in the netherlands, but VEC says they wount cover that. I must be intitled to some sort of assistance Right??? this whole system is mindboggling

    Hey,

    There's a form called 'SA1' which your County Council (for 2006 anyways as your going to a Uni) should give you. There's a sample one here: http://www.clare.ie/HEG/SA1form.pdf

    Give them a call, or else contact the Student Support Unit if there's a problem, but assuming you fit the criteria you should be ok.
