Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

mobo question

I bought a dell PC last year a Dimension 5100, it's a P4 3.00GHZ Socket 775, 1GB RAM @ 400mhz(ye pretty damn slow RAM!), a 7600GT i installed instead of the old x300SE. But the motherboard has no tweaking/overclocking options and as it's not nForce i cant use nTune. I want to try overclocking and also to build a new pc over the next while, so i deceided to upgrade it, i'm sticking to socket 775 so i can later buy a core 2 duo. I've 2 mobo's in mind, the ASUS P5B Deluxe Wi-Fi AP or the Abit Ab9 both are great motherboards by the sounds of things but i'm not sure which is better, the ab9 is cheaper but has less features than the ASUS but are the extras in the ASUS needed? if any1 has any other mobo's in mind please mention them.

I can't decide on which is best 4 so any help wud be appreciated

    Tanx

I'm just about to start building my own computer and I'm planning on using this motherboard. Might be worth a look, apparently as socket 775s go its quite good. Another option to consider anyway, but it is expensive.
