    the wall i am working on was never painted. always wallpapered.
    the wall was prepaired etc.sand papered down all that ..
    but the paint soaks in to it like its drinking it up.
    the brush seems to be better for the first coat.
    any tips would be greatly recived.

    Well if the wall was never painted and its raw plaster then plaster normally soaks up paint.Once the first coat is on,its easy to apply a second coat either with roller or brush.
