Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Bam Bam?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,594 ✭✭✭Fozzy

That's right! At least it took a bit longer than my other ones. Bam Bam is currently under a WWE Legends contract, which probably (hopefully) threw people off

just a quick question...whats the significance to signing a legends contract..is it so that they can be put into games and stuff cos we rarely see them have matches

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,594 ✭✭✭Fozzy

It basically means that WWE own all their marketing rights. So they can sell t-shirts, action figures, computer games, whatever it is, featuring them. I thought I read something about them only being able to appear on WWE tv too, cos Roddy Piper left TNA right after he signed a Legends contract, but Jake the Snake is under one and he's been on TNA tv recently

This is a long shot. Theres only one person i can think of who debuted round 1998 that is now married to someone else in the business and that is Booker T's wife Sharmell Sullivan. I know she debuted as Paisley in 1998 and has never won a title. Technically, i dont remember her "wrestling" in wwe, but she definitely wrestled Tamy sytch in wcw.

Well done, that's right. She's teamed with Booker a few times in WWE. I was just thinkin, if I'd said debuted in 1999 (which I did by accident at first), Torrie Wilson would've been right

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,454 ✭✭✭slicus ricus

    Debut - 1986
    Wrestled for wcw and wwe
Won a world title in one of the promotions and tag-titles in both
Played in the NFL and for Florida State University

Damn!! Thanks for clearing up that confusion Wacker - it was indeed Simmons.

Seeing how nobody is taking the initiative in asking a new one, im gonna go again. This one wont be as easy!!

    Debuted in 1976
Wrestled for AWA, NWA/WCW, and WWE
Held titles in 2 of the above promotions.

I'm going to go for Hulk, he debuted around then, went around the regions for a while, never held the AWA title but was awarded it last year I think, has held titles in WCW and WWF/E obvisiously.

I'm thinking that's too easy tho
