Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Advice on Wireless network

I have 3MB dsl broadband from digiweb. I wanna find a suitable wireless router that will allow me too:

    a) Connect my desktop via standard ethernet
    b) Connect my laptop wirelessly
    c) Connect my ds lite wirelessly
    d) All the above at the same time

I'm fairly clueless when it comes to wireless gear, so what do you guys recommend? The Digiweb DSl XTRA connection comes through one of those crappy ZyXel Prestige modems.

For DSL, this bundle might be a better bet, if you need a wireless adapter too. It's a DSL modem, so you could sell the XyZEL (if you don't have to give it back to Digiweb - check your contract).

DOnt need any dongles or anything, laptop is built in wireless.
    I would eventually have

    pc connected with etherent
    laptop with wireless
    ds with wireless
    wii with wireless
    xbox 360 ith wireless
Is that asking too much? or is the router linked in the first reply enough?

Rumour has it that you can get an eircom branded Netopia Wireless router at PC World for 24.99. You have to give A phone number, but they don't check that it's right :-).

You can use 4 wireless devices at a time, but you may find that you don't have enough bandwidth to use them all at full belt at the same time.

Thats grand man, but does the komplett model support this?

It's handier for me to buy online.

I don't know of a wireless router that wouldn't support 4 wireless connections. It's not that onerous a requirement.
