Salmon farms diving.

    Hi,

    was watching Waterworld on BBC this evening, series about diving around northen Ireland...
    They were diving in/next to a salmon farm
    Any one knows is this is something that can be done ? Anyone actually dived near/in one ?

    In killary fjord there are fish farms. It wouldn't be that difficult to take a compass bearing and fin out to have a look.

    I thought the last time you were out in Killary following your buddy (who had a compass) it didn't work out so well... :D

    Ah yes.... the faulty compass..... strangely enough 2 dives later i ended up with the faulty compas and it worked perfectly. It must have been a local magnetic anomolly focused around said diver.

    The story gets even better when i tell people he's a navigator in the Navy.... thank god they have GPS.
