I have just been going over the Dundalk Pay Parking Bye-laws 2000 and I have noticed that the price it gives for hourly parking is 50p, the old 2000 price. The Bye-laws havent been updated as far as Im aware, does this make the laws invalid in any way. Their own laws governing the local pay parking clearly state that it costs 50p to park for an hour, even the euro conversion of 50p clashes with todays price. Shame if they had to refund everyone who has been fined. :)

Yes I have a parking issue Im contesting with them at present, before anyone asks.

The euro changeover act would cover it. How much is being charged now?

Check what the actual tickets issued by the machine say -v- the bye-laws.

    Well 50p is 63.49 cent.

In Portlaoise the 50p per hour charge became 60 cent.
