Hi all, What modifications would need to be made to a petrol, auto 1984 500SEC in order to run on Bioethanol? Is there anywhere in Ireland that specialises in any conversion work that would need to be done? Is it widely available here? Is it cheaper? Cheers, Les

From what I understand its a massive job. Getting the engine to run on Ethenol isnt a major problem, involves additional injectors, unfortuntly the bioethenol is very corrosive on the seals and pipes from the fuel tank and in the engine, so involves exstensive replacement of components. Google for more info!
