installing jre from java.com

    I am having trouble installing the jre on both IE and firefox.

    I have installed it many times before, just wondering if other people are having the same problem at the time of this post.

    It cannot find cab files using IE and other error using firefox.

    Got that cab file error yesterday
    On java.com there should be a Manual Download link, and choose the Offline option then - that sorted it for me yesterday

    I normally use the download one, but I am directing other people to the site to get java, it make the process much easier if can all be done relatively simply for non tech people from the browser.

    Its on the java error message section.
