Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone notice that Newstalk have made a mistake with their Live Stream webpage? You are presented with the option to listen with Winamp or Real Audio.

The only thing is that the stream is not a Real Audio stream but Windows Media and is indicated as such using a WMP logo.

I almost had a heart attack when I saw it as I don't have Real Audio at work! :) I've sent the Station Editor an email, let's see how long it takes to get fixed...

Wish they would bring the streaming up to at least 32kbps 20kbps sounds oh so shortwave.

    Any views?

Well because I'm living in the UK, I'm just glad they have a stream and I can listen. :)

The streaming is awful IMO, I might have to restart the player 10-12 times in a day :(

Well now, I thought that was just a problem with our server connection here at work :)

I have to do the same but again I'm just glad to be able to listen to Irish voices talking about Irish issues or global issues, in the Irish way :D

...but yes, it would be nice to be able to switch on at the start of the day and not have to restart the stream several times :)
