Reccommend a good DIY manual?

What's the best all-round DIY book for someone who isn't particularly handy or skilled? I'm looking for the kind of book that will tell me how to do all the usual odd jobs, plus the rudiments of building work - or at least the terminology so I sound like I know what I'm talking about.

Homebond have a "House building manual". It can be bought in Easons or ordered direct from Homebond.

Its not a DIY book as such but you would pick up a lot of good tips if you were keen on doing renovation or building work. If you wanted to take a step further into the construction business or know what the different building regs are then its a must.

Every "builder" should have one.
