    He was poor alright.... He said the fight was over in the 3rd (i think) where it was only the bell for the end of the round.

    Bit harsh wishing him dead blame Rte for hiring him for the fight.

    Jimmy Magee isn't that bad. Every commentator in every sport makes mistakes. Magee's are worth it for everything else he brings to the table.

    Being an old git who should've retired years ago and talks bollocks about sports he has no understanding of? It's a hell of a package. My TV license fee should be doubled to keep Jimmy Magee in a well-deserved job.

    here here - he is embrassing - I just watched the game again on line on the rte website and Magee is even worse second time round
