Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wow! That looks like 3 times better than sensation :)

What would it take to get a show like that going here? Would it be impossible? I'd presume that you'd have to run at a loss unless you spread it over 4-5 years.. which doesn't seem to work in Ireland (Homelands/Creamfields etc) with the exception of Elec Picnic.

Wonder if there'd even be a big enough market for it now.. would ya get 7000-10,000 people to pay for a one off, one tent event?

It's all in the marketing really - with the amount of disposable inome in this country it would be no problem getting interest going, especially among the nostalgic 30-something set. The bigger problem would be getting the various licences and what not to run it, the land involved, the acts needed... MCD and Aiken have a strangle hold over pretty much every act in every genre that comes into Ireland - we used to bring in reasonably big Jazz Acts to play a few years back and we kept running into problems regarding exclusivity contracts and such.

I doubt you would even get that in the UK never mind here, once again when it comes to clubs and raves the Dutch are streets ahead of every other country
