Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wireless on laptop

When u look at the spec of some laptops it says its wireless. What exactly does this mean....if i have BB in the house will it automatically pick it up, or do i still have to go and buy a router??

When u look at the spec of some laptops it says its wireless. What exactly does this mean....if i have BB in the house will it automatically pick it up, or do i still have to go and buy a router??

If you have a wireless router in your home it should detect it. If you don't have one, you will need to buy one.

If you get a modem from your broadband supplier, it may have wireless built in. If so, your laptop should be able to connect to it.

If it doesn't have wireless built in, you will have to purchase a wireless router to connect your modem.
