Hi there

I recently purchased a solid wood floor but the installer noticed that the (concrete) floor of the room it is going on is uneven so I need to have it planed down.

I'm told it is a very common problem these days as builders are just throwing houses together.

Does anyone know a builder who would do this. The floor installer referred me to a guy who says he'll do it for around €200 but I've been asking him to call around to see it for weeks and all I'm getting is excuses.
