13-11-2006 2:30am#1Well, the second game, which was scheduled for half six, was called off, as Athletico Southside couldn't field a team. Boca Plate came and had a kick around for a while. I couldn't get much from watching that, apart from reporting that their 'keeper isn't a dwarf. They play in the Argentina jersey.
The third game went ahead. Our next two opponents went head to head - Brompton Rec. -vs- Templeroan. I left at half time when it was three nil to a very wind assisted Brompton Rec. I actually thought Templeroan were the better side in the half, but after it went 2-0 their heads dropped completely.
I don't think our defence would have too many problems with either set of forwards tbh, each of the teams have a couple of players with a few flicks and dances up their sleeves, but so did our own opponents tonight.
One other thing, the ref tonight, who penalised Simon for doing NOTHING wrong
was in fact a bit of a 'B'.
