    Anyone know exactly where in Ballyfermot the garda station is please? Went to vrt the car on Friday, won't do it until I have a cop check out that it wasn't stolen first. Turning out to be some ordeal!

    Sounds like bull, once you have a genuine v5, revenue should be only too happy to take your money. Does the Chassis no. and Vin all match? Did you do a hpi check?

    Didn't do a HPI check but got guy from CarCheck.ie to check it out before I did and he said everything was in order. All numbers match too and have original docs. Anyone know exactly where garda station is in Ballyfermot?

    DO NOT buy any car from the UK without doing an HPI check on it. The Guards will know nothing about the car's history in the UK.
