Some of yiz may remember this post from earlier this year where it was pretty glaringly obvious that BT had not grown at all in 2005 as they had not sorted out their myriad CS and Billing issues.

Having made progress on this long running farce in the first half of this year, even to the point where one could recommend them to people by the summer without gritting ones teeth and inserting caveats, BT are now under a bit of pressure again but for the right reasons .

In 2005 they started the year off with 35,000 BB customers and ended the year with 35,000 BB customers. Boards such as this were full of furious posters who had nothing but trouble with the BT CS and Billing .

Thanks (again and mainly ) to the Boards user surveys and to some others who engaged them on this unacceptable lack of attention to their customer base BT did manage during this year to resolve some of these issues and to resource a REAL complaints department to mop these long running CS and Billing issues up behind the CS .

In Yesterdays Tribune it was mentioned that BT who launched some stonking bundles in the summer are under pressure again. They are picking up 4,300 NEW Customers a month.

I will say though that the sheer volume of complaints about BT in the latter half of 2006 ( and them picking up 4300 new customers a month) is way down on the volume of complaints in 2005 when they were not picking up any new customers overall .

OK the CS and Billing and (recently) Tech support are uncontactable again :D . BUT this is not as big a problem as it used to be when you could contact them and they could do nothing ....bar their always excellent tech support.

And thanks for those bundles again BT, well done !
