Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    What do people think? Not for high-end gaming, but it doesn't look too bad for what I'd want it for.
    Gotta lurve that 3-year warranty... :)

    Broadly the same as the base spec Dell 6400 and so is the price

    The only difference for your €760 is

    core solo not core duo processor , should be good for battery life so the Medion

    1gb ram instead of 512mb

    Dual layer DVD writer instead of single layer

    Better s/w bundle

    Better audio support.

    3 year warranty not 1 .

    Bigger hard disk.

    However Dell _may_ give you a free Vista upgrade in the new year as standard where Medion may not.

    was just on aldi website before i read this and thought it said 12th novemebr for this laptop. if you click "sunday specials" on bottom left hand corner of page it shows laptop as being 12th november special??
    just sumit to maybe check out in case their already gone

    Not for any kinda gaming tbh. the intel 950 graphics are complete pants.
