Im trying to sort out some very dodgy eircom bb pings for weeks now,i am comparing settings with a friend and noticed his IP Gateway was different to mine. Would this make a difference? Im trying to sort out some very dodgy eircom bb pings for weeks now,i am comparing settings with a friend and noticed his IP Gateway was different to mine.
Would this make a difference?

Also my friends data path is set to fast but mine is at interleaving.
We found this strange as theres no way to change this,maybe its a setting at exchange?
I know interleaving on increases ping but mine has been set to interleaving for 2 years now so i doubt its contributing to my high pings last few weeks.

Anyone know why the settings are different? Is a different location the reason for the difference in the ip gateway? What about the data path setting?
