Does anyone know where in or around Dublin that stock very young hamsters at the moment? I'm looking to buy one but the shops I've checked only have adults...

Petstop in blanch have some at the moment, saw one there myself last night.
But do your research first, and please, buy a decent cage not a "normal" hamster cage they give as standard cheap option.
Also remember that they actually have no idea about the animal they are selling you in that store except what they were told in a 30min session to tell you.
(All the staff seem to be aged between 16-19 and I asked some questions, they lied through their teeth (very convincingly I might add) and had no clue. I was even told that it was ok to feed gerbils "the odd bit of meat"). !!

I agree, Petstop in Blanch are absolutely awful for advice, they don't have a clue about any of the animals they sell. According to one of their staff I could put 2 Syrian/Golden hamsters in the same cage and they'd "get on grand".....

(for anyone who doesn't know, Syrian/Golden hamsters, even littermates, will fight viciously.
