I was recenlty caught short , with my remote control out of arms reach , and one of those RTE, "remember how naff it was in ireland in the past" courtesy of your licence fee and recycled stock footage.. , and I song I remember well came on. And I did not know then , and I dont know now what the hell it means..

So if someone could explain what the phrase

" would you like ye'ol lobby washed down con shine" ..

means .. I will probably regret asking, but thank you for it.

Is there a man called Con Shine, who has a hotel, and needs his "lobby washed down" .. , due to some bizzare practice that involves him needing to hose down the place..

also.. extra points for linking it to lewd explainations , that had their origns back it the Irish 70s..
