Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I thought it would be useful if there was a separate thread with tips, advice and how to's about roaming. So I'm going to start with this one:

How to listen to your voicemail messages when abroad, without incurring any roaming charges:

    1) Just before you go abroad set up a divert to divert all calls to voicemail.
    2) Don't take your phone, leave it switched off at home.
    3) If you want to check if there are any messages and listen to them while abroad, dial your voicemail number from an ordinary phone. (it's usually 00353 8_5_ _ _ _ _ _ _) Just add a 5 to the 085, 086 or 087 prefix of your number.
    5) You'll hear your own greeting, interrupt it by pressing # your voicemail PIN and # (this PIN is normally preset to 0000, although it's safer to change it using the voicemail menu from your phone.)
    4) Listen to your messages.
    5) If you need to reply it'll usually cost far less to use a land line phone, or a mobile with a SIM card from the country you're visiting.
    6) When you return home remember to remove the all calls to voicemail divert.
