Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

if your budget is less than a grand it's doubtful you will get an upgradable graphics card

The one you link to was recommended to me by someone else here.

2 of my friends have since got it and it is a good laptop.

If you're interested in games, the only one that has been tried so far was Civ 4 and it runs well on it (only a bit of slow down late in the games on big maps)

If you have to ask about upgrading then no you can't. Only some laptops can be upgraded, low end ones like the one you linked to most certainly cannot. But changing laptop gpus is alot more complex then desktops ones, so stay the hell away if you don't know it inside out. ;)

    Toshiba for €599

Its shared memory for graphics, but throw an extra 1GB in there and you can assign the full 128MB to the graphics card.

    - And the specs are wrong on the PC World website - FSB is 533MHz
