Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Juninho Rules Out Brazil Return

Lyon midfielder Juninho Pernambucano has re-affirmed that he will not play for Brazil again.

One of the four Brazilian candidates nominated for France Football's coveted Ballon d'Or, Juninho was emphatic about his decision to retire.

The 31-year-old won 40 caps, the last of which came against France in the World Cup quarter-final in the summer, and believes his form for his club should have earned him more.

"I want to make it clear that I am not thinking in the national team," he said.

"I think my moment has already passed and unhappily I hadn't had the opportunities I deserved to have had.

"Here (at Lyon) if you are fine, you will play. In the national team, it's not always like this.

"I'm fed up of being a reserve, without the chance to help my team and my country. I think I could have contributed even more if I had had more chances, as well as other players had.

"But I support Dunga and his new job, which has started very well."
