Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

heres my situation - currently living and working in the north.
about to start a new build in donegal which we plan to move to when completed, but with the joys of braodband will be able to "work" from home for a portion of the week - we will probably rent out our house that we own in the north.

now i know that if i was doing a new build in the north i wouldnt have to pay any vat on that build, but whats the situation with vat as im building in a different jurisdiction and also wont pay tax in that jurisdiction as long as i continue to work in the north?

If you have a VAT no. in the North, would this not be enough to avoid paying VAT in Donegal?

Unlike NI and the UK, there is no VAT reclaim on new builds in the Republic....
