    does anyone know where i can get an easy html comment form?

    just a standard 'general enquiries' one with name, email and contact details... along with the message area.

    i've seen a few copy and paste ones however all have a nasty 'click here for a free comment form' underneath them. Hardly very professional looking.

    Yeah, as the Guru pointed out, I wasn't aware this was possible without some server side scripting...

    guess i should have said,

    a comment form that will forward all comments to an email address..

    i can't write one, i'm not that gifted yet :)

    i'd prefer to steal a bit of html, edit a few lines and throw it up.

    Yeah that was self explanatory, but you will still need some server side scripting e.g. PHP

    i came across this;

    http://www.jotform.com/

    it's perfect. The only thing i need is to send the data to an email address.

    you're saying i need to mess about with scripts and all that crack to do this?

    Think of users in an internet cafe for example - there won't be a default email address on the machine so when they click an email linked form it won't work.

    Contact your host and ask them what server side scripts are allowed with your account (ASP/ASP.net/PHP/CHI/...). Once we know we will help set something up for you.

    smemon, learn how to use google and learn how to code. No point in saying i don't have the ability to do this or that when you make no attempt, all the information is out there to help you. Asking this kind of question on any message board is going to piss people off...

    Here, this is what you need. Follow the tutorial and you will have an anti-spam contact form written in php.
