Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    In the market for a reasonably priced laptop for home at the moment, saw Dunnes Stores Cornelscourt selling Fujitsu Siemens Amilo laptops last nite ?

    15.4" wide screen
    Celeron M380
    Dual layer DVD burner
    80 gig HD
    1 gig RAM
    ethernet & 802.11 b/g & regular modem
    Windows XP & MS Works

    all for €649

    Does this look good ?

    Not particularly, no. Not too keen about FS, and 649 is a pretty average price for that spec.

    The celeron processor is not good.

    For the price, Dell will give you better

    Try here for a good laptop

    This has an amd 64 processor

    It's not the processor. Celeron Processors are fine for most things people need laptops for. Its just a bit overpriced for what it is, in my opinion.
