Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm just wondering if there is a way to get windows 2000 to automatically make files hidden as they are generated (specifically tmp files)?

(rather than having to go in each time to click on the files properties)

Why not create one hidden folder and place all your hidden files in it?

You can't as far as I aware create a policy where you can have all ".tmp" files extensions hidden by default. You can hide the folder or the file but not the extension.

you can change the environment variables to point to other folders
eg: c:\temp - note other users could then seen attachements of outlook emails of others so care needed

you can use a batch file to change them all in one go
CD folder
    attrib +h *.tmp
then click on it
