Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

looking for a laptop

    a friend of mine wants to get a laptop but im not to clued up on the laptop side of things.

    He wants a good one for a around a grand.One that runs quick and the likes.Doesnt need it for gaming or anything drastic. Also is there ne difference between a laptop and a notebook?

    i'm not clued up on the specifications of laptops/notebooks these days i'm sure others will help you there, but there is no difference between notebook and laptop names.

    the reason for the name notebook i think was because someone sued a laptop maker because he got burned on his lap from a laptop. hence the rename to notebook.

    Dual core all the waylot of space and a lot of speed!

    I'll have a look around for other good deals tomorrow!

    Oh if he's going to buy soon I know aldi(or lidl?? can think)have a total ripper for sale at about the same price.but with a better video card(and 3 year warrenty :P)
