    Hi everybody,

    Just bought a Airis T980XXL from pixmania with 2 gig memory card with Route66 is preinstalled.

    Started it up ... took it for a walk around Stoneybatter in Dublin ... but Route66 is saying that it can't find a GPS signal: "No GPS" :mad:

    I have read other posting from people who have bought other Airis systems. I was wondering if anyone else had problems with their devices. Did it work straight out of the box? Is there some configuration I need to do? Will it only work when I install it in a car?:confused:

    Support from the manufacturer seems to be non existent! :mad:

    Some help/info would be gratefully received,

    Well you need to be outside for it to work:eek:

    and it can take a few min to pick up a signal

    Mine worked straight out of the box....as per all GPS systems it can take a few mins for it to get a fix on enough satellites to determine your position.
