hi does anyone know you to go about setting up a cheap international calls booth? I'm thinking of opening dvd rental store, and internet cafe but would also like to set up a facility like this as well.
Are there any companies that offer cheap line rental and cost/ min calling?
and would it be worth it?

These cheap calls really work over the internet. You'd need broadband i'd say. Check out www.go2call.ie - they allow you to become a reseller, and have call management software etc.

Potluck - try posting your question over on the VoIP forum as well as here, there are a number of guys over there who will probably have lots of info on this, but may not see your post here.

You can set it up with carrier preselect with one of the telco's. You just get regular lines from eircom.

You can go the voip way, but unless you have a fantastic internet connection, you may have issues with call quality.

You need some sort of pabx facility which will allow you to track and charge for the calls.

You could also try this crowd, 13434 and ask if they have a specific offering for call centres, watch out for call setup charges in their pricing....
