Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

yeah great game, really enjoyed it. I dont really watch FAI footy at all to be honest but there was great commitment and some nice football played despite the crappy weather.

McCourt and Farren(sp) for Derry are quality.

    Good spectacle.

I'd just like to re-iterate what most people have said on this thread, and pass on a congrats to Derry and hard luck to St Pats. Unfortunate to lose after being ahead 3 times. St Pats needed this win more than Derry.

Both teams put up a good display in what was atrocious weather. Its a busy calendar I realise but I think the FAI should arrangethe FAI final to be held earlier in the year, maybe Sept or last weekend in August.

ps: A question, where will it be played next year?

Exciting game, was hoping Pats could bring it to penos though. Very suprised Hutton got motm on that performance but that's not important.

Why should you never let a St. Pats player walk your dog?
They can't hold onto the lead

The FAI usually decides much closer to the time.

    Terrible conditions, attendace 20k plus.

    16k according to today's papers.

Super result. Pat's must really have had their hopes up once or twice yesterday. ;)

Hutton's marking wasn't the best at times and he was the cause for Pats getting through on goal on a few occasions . The penalty he gave away was rediculous . Overall considering he got such an important goal and made up for one of his mistakes with a goal saving tackle he did okay . However McCourt , Farran and Eddie McCallion(the only defener to play very well) all had better games .

Super result, still celebrating tbh. I thought we showed super resilience, despite the pressure of constantly going behind. This really tops off what has been a fantastic season.
