Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I don't know how much I think Bolton can beat Chelsea, that said, they should be on high form, so I remain hopeful.

Watford 0 - 1 Sheff Utd. Late goal for Webber, who was in an offside position

yeah can't see Bolton putting Chelsea over. Most Arsenal fans i know resign themselves to losses against Bolton at this stage. Chelsea have a stronger side which can cope with Boltons physicality much more effectively than Arsenal

Shock horror that Ronaldo got over his "injury" from Sunday.

Think it was more of a case that he got caught diving and thought by faking an injury (seeing as there were only a couple of minutes to go) that he wouldn't get pulled up on it.

Fantasy football said he was doubtful so I changed him for Gerrard while making a loss on my money.

Gerrard better get a few goals and assists tonight.

It's only a crap league to you because the other two are MILES ahead of Liverpool and all other so called contenders in terms of ability and form

I'm sure you weren't saying that when Liverpool were winning everything in the 70's and 80's ;)

    2 points dropped

These are the points that need to be picked up when carrying a shocking away form.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,908 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

Fantastic performance by City, in particular Joey Barton. They hadn't lost at home, we hadn't won away so of course we were gonna nick it! Vas loves playing against his old club and even Distin got one. Described by the BBC website as a goal Beckenbauer would have been proud of! Great three points.

I watched Chelsea for 90 minutes tonight, I dont often put myself through 90 minutes of Chelsea. I doubt I ever will again. They done nothing for 90 minutes and still won comfortably against the team closest to them in the league, Utd excluded.

Ive heard alot about the Prem being the greatest league in the world the last week or so, but Im sorry Im looking at the table right now and thinking, how in gods name are teams like Portsmouth and Bolton still the nearest challengers to the top two.

Bolton were awful tonight. I still have doubts about United, the pressure that is on them now is immense, if they falter Chelsea will walk to the title.

Greatest league in the world, my ar*e.

I have to say I'm quite surprised Liverpool aren't giving a better showing this season so far but shocked over Arsenals current form, seems like they just can't take the in your face game and are a bit soft  Most teams now know to get physical with them and they don't handle it too well. Also have the look of a one man team too

Funny that, I had a feeling Bolton v Chelsea was going to be a poor game... glad I went with my instincts and gave it a miss

It was only a poor game because Chelsea controlled the game but for the last 10 or 15 mins when Bolton did a Wimbledon and started to hoof the ball long because they couldn't go through midfield.

    I enjoyed it :D:D:D:D

Nah it takes two I'm afraid. Bolton always play long ball, and Man Utd and Arsenal played there recently yet they were both cracking games.

But, with just 15 minutes remaining, centre-back Distin punished them with what should go down as a candidate for goal of the season when he took the ball from the edge of his own area, played a one-two with Samaras, and knocked the ball beyond Liam Ridgewell before placing it beyond the helpless Taylor.

    Can't wait for MOTD!
