How long does Eircom DSL activation take?

    Hi,

    I signed up for the Eircom €24.99p.m. package online, wherein you get the wireless modem 'self-install' package, on November 16. On the following Friday (the 22nd), I got the box with the modem & bits n pieces and set it all up. However, I noticed that I still don't seem to have a DSL signal (yet). Based on other users' experiences, how long does it take Eircom to turn on the DSL signal to your house?

    (Apologies if this has been repeated elsewhere - I did a quick search on boards.ie but didn't find a similar question)

    I was almost in the same boat. Got the modem on the 16th, but the line was activates on the 21st. Everything's working fine now. You can ring up 1901 and check the status of the order.

    i thin k its ten working days, so that would be tomorrow

    Gee, I should have waited one more day... it's working now! :) Wish I hadn't spent 1/2 hour on the phone (listening to Eircom music) on Monday. I want my 30mins back! :D
