Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Laptop Duty from UK

    Hi all,

    Thanx for takin time to read. I am buying a new laptop from the uk from a place called www.misco.co.uk and was wondering if i will have to pay import duty? been readin alot of horror stories of late of people gettin hit with duty from everywhere?

    Any comments??

    Its in the EU - You'll have to pay VAT at UK rates AFAIK, but thats it.

    ive never once been charged for anything coming from the uk and over the last 5 years ive imported all sorts of stuff from computers, car parts, household items etc etc
